CHANDLER – Today, Congressman Tom O’Halleran (AZ-01) announced that Gila Local Exchange Carrier, Inc., operated by the Gila River Indian Community and headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, will receive a $14.8 million grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to deploy a fiber-to-the-premises network in rural Arizona.

Arizona Rep. Tom O’Halleran, who represents Arizona’s largely rural 1st Congressional District, championed the new federal bipartisan infrastructure package as a victory for rural Arizonans in a press call on Thursday.
