Republican Sen. Martha McSally and Democratic Rep. Tom O’Halleran have proposed a bill to expand the boundaries of Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument in Flagstaff to include the visitor center that is located on Coconino National Forest land.

The bill would transfer about 97 acres of land to the National Park Service.
