Rep. O’Halleran Announces Washington Office Staff

Washington, DC - Today, Arizona Congressman Tom O’Halleran (AZ-01) announced the hiring of new staff in his Washington, D.C. office.

“I am pleased to announce my congressional staff in Washington, D.C. who are serving the great people of the 1st District,” said Rep. O’Halleran. “They will support my efforts to serve our district and Arizona in the United States House of Representatives.”

Jeremy Nordquist will serve as O’Halleran’s Chief of Staff. Nordquist previously served as Chief of Staff to Rep. Brad Ashford of Nebraska. Nordquist was a member of the nonpartisan Nebraska legislature from 2009-2015. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Creighton University and Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

“It is a great honor to work for such a thoughtful leader like Congressman O’Halleran,” said Nordquist. “At a time when partisanship has a strong grip on our national politics, Tom comes to Washington ready to work across the aisle to get things done for Arizona families.”

Xenia Ruiz will serve as Legislative Director. Ruiz most recently worked as a Senior Legislative Assistant to Rep. Ruben Gallego of Arizona. Prior to that she served as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Rep. Pete Gallego of Texas.

Willa Prescott will serve as Operations Director. In the last Congress, Prescott was Operations Director for Rep. Ashford. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. Prescott’s family has lived in Phoenix and Tuscon.

Paul Babbitt will serve as Legislative Assistant. Most recently, Babbitt was a Legislative Assistant for Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and is from Flagstaff. Babbitt’s family has lived in Flagstaff for over 125 years.

Maggie Farry will serve as Legislative Correspondent. Prior to this, she was a Legislative Fellow for Rep. Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona and is from Phoenix.

Cody Uhing will serve as Press Secretary. Uhing previously served as Press Secretary for Rep. Ashford. He is from rural Nebraska and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University.

Daniel Martin will serve as Special Assistant. Martin served as the Deputy Finance Director for O’Halleran’s congressional campaign, and he holds a degree from Arizona State University.
