O’Halleran Joins Safe Climate Caucus
WASHINGTON—This week, Congressman Tom O’Halleran (AZ-01) joined the bipartisan Safe Climate Caucus, spearheaded by Congressman Alan Lowenthal (CA-47) and Congressman Don Beyer (VA-08).
“In the past few years, we’ve seen the effects of climate change play out across Arizona. From raging wildfires, superstorms, and rising temperatures, it is clear we must act before it gets any worse,” said Rep. O’Halleran. “Climate change is a real and immediate threat to Arizona farmers and ranchers and will have a lasting impact on our precious water resources. I look forward to working with the Safe Climate Caucus to address this growing crisis.”
The Safe Climate Caucus is a bipartisan group of lawmakers dedicated to building support, both in and outside of Congress, for efforts to protect our planet for future generations by taking concrete steps to combat climate change.
