Rep. O'Halleran Assembles Care Packages for American Servicemembers
Last week, Congressman Tom O'Halleran (AZ-01) joined the USO to assemble care packages for troops stationed overseas.
"While Americans honored the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms over the Memorial Day Weekend, millions of servicemembers and their families are stationed overseas and away from home," said Rep. O'Halleran. "I joined the USO and my colleagues in the House of Representatives to assemble care packages to show my appreciation for our deployed troops. Thank you to the USO for their unending commitment to our Armed Forces and for hosting this event for us."
For more than 77 years, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. The USO is a congressionally chartered, private organization. It relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of connection.
