Rep. O'Halleran Statement on Net Neutrality Vote
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Tom O’Halleran (AZ-01) released a statement following the Federal Communications Commission’s vote to end 2015 net neutrality regulations:
“The American people have spoken loudly and passionately about Net Neutrality. It is now Congress’ responsibility to act by passing bipartisan legislation that ensures our internet remains open, the rights of consumers are protected, and innovation and entrepreneurship can thrive. I stand ready to work with my colleagues from both sides of the aisle to find a legislative solution that takes the American people’s concerns into account.”
The Federal Communications Commission voted along party lines to dismantle net neutrality rules that regulate businesses that connect consumers to the internet.
