Rep. Tom O’Halleran Joins the House Law Enforcement Caucus
Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Tom O’Halleran joined the House Law Enforcement Caucus, a bipartisan group of legislators committed to working on issues that impact local, state, and federal law enforcement officers.
“As a former Chicago homicide detective, I am proud to bring my experience and knowledge to the House Law Enforcement Caucus,” said Rep. O’Halleran. “Day in and day out our brave men and women in uniform put their lives on the line to protect our communities. I look forward to working closely with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to identify and solve the problems affecting our law enforcement community.”
Created in 1994, the House Law Enforcement Caucus serves as a forum for discussion and a sounding board for ideas that impact the law enforcement community. Through briefings and gathering representatives from state, local, and federal law enforcement, the caucus focuses on law enforcement officer safety, the state of local law enforcement, and honoring fallen officers during National Police Week.
